Our promise to every patient

The Merlin Test is covered by Medicare, and SkylineDx offers financial support programs to help minimize or eliminate any out-of-pocket costs for patients.

At SkylineDx, we are committed to compassionate patient care. Our goal is to ensure that every patient who may benefit from the Merlin Test has access to it. A dedicated patient billing specialist is available at any time to provide personalized support.

Testing

When your doctor orders the Merlin Test, we will request your up-to-date insurance information. This allows us to submit a claim to your insurance provider on your behalf.

Coverage

When your Merlin Test is ordered, we will submit a claim to your health insurance plan. You may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). This is NOT a bill. If your health plan denies the coverage for the Merlin Test, SkylineDx billing experts will work with them to cover the test. SkylineDx also has special programs in place that may be able to help patients whose insurance providers do not cover the cost of the Merlin Test.

Support

SkylineDx will send the bill directly to Medicare and/or your insurance company. Depending on your plan, you may still be responsible for your deductible, copay, or coinsurance. If this occurs, SkylineDx will explain your options, including our Patient Financial Assistance Program.
