SkylineDx is committed to compassionate patient care. Our goal is to ensure that every patient who can benefit from the Merlin test is able to afford it. A knowledgeable patient billing specialist can help at any time to offer personalized support.
Testing
When your Merlin test is ordered, we will need all up to date health insurance information. This is so that we can submit a claim with your insurance company for the test on your behalf.
Claim Submission
If your insurance company denies the coverage for the Merlin test, SkylineDx billing experts will work with your insurance company by appealing the decision and ask them to reconsider and cover the test.
Support
We will send the bill to your insurance company for you. Depending on your health benefit plan, you may still need to pay some of the bill yourself. This share of cost may be your usual deductible, copay, or coinsurance. If this happens, we will let you know and explain your options, including our patient Financial Assistance Program.
